Find Someone to Walk Beside You
My Approach
My approach starts with respecting each person’s story and perspective and builds toward goals from there. Whether in relationship with yourself, your partner, or others in your life, sometimes you get stuck in loops and can't seem to break free. I’m here to explore with you in understanding where these cycles have come from, making sense of yourself and the world around you, and learning where to go from there. Freedom from those cycles can be hard to find on your own, and together we can untangle and make sense of where you are and explore the path to where you’d rather be.
I use a variety of methods for helping people reach for meaning, connection, and the life they’re hoping for. My approach is based in relationships, learning to recognize patterns and build new strategies for meeting needs, developing a story that can help map out a new direction, facing and accepting the difficult aspects of life, clarifying values, and understanding how bodies and brains impact how people function. I partner with people to incorporate their values, beliefs, backgrounds, needs, and expertise in their own lives into the process of growth, change, and connection that promote resilience, interdependence, and freedom in life and relationships.
